Virgin Attempt !!

It's Nov's furlough day and all workers are given a day off with the exception of a few who need to go back for OT to rush some parts.


Hence, Im taking this opportunity to blog incase my blog turns rusty.



I had a wonderful weekend !



15.11.09 [Sunday]


Since it's holiday the next day, the goodfriends at work decided to hit JB!


And guess what?

It was my virgin attempt to drive in JB with 2 male passengers on board.


How brave can I ever get?


The very nice AhPua drove out from JB where he's living and met us all at P.ris to guide me the way to JB since he's so experience.

A total of 6 of us went in in 2 vehicles.


Journey wasn't that bad with the exception that we were caught it the jam after exiting the custom for about an hour plus.

And now I know why people are always saying JB drivers are reckless people. You can never imagine how close the other vehicles can come near you in order to cut lanes. Total Madness !


But, I had learnt how to be even more reckless and dangerous as well in order to keep up with AhPua's car infront.. LOL !


First Stop was CitySquare . Wanted to hit Jusco but bcos of time constraint, we gave it a missed.

Bcos I was the only female there with them, those 5 guys were so nice enough and agreed to be my sisters and accompany shopping for about 2 hrs ! haha!

And next, it was sushi buffet at somewhere further in JB which i can't rmbr the name of the place.
10mins drive from CitySquare and i heard the sushi there is famous and cheap!


And at dinner, another 7 joined us. 3 other technicians with their wives/gf and another ex colleaque from CAS.

Thank god Pua made reservations!

I rmbred having this conversation across dinner about the mandarine for JellyFish.

Both XiaoQiang and AhGong were having a debate on wether it's called ShuiMu or HaiZe.

XQ: ShuiMu shi ta de family ming. HaiZe shi ta de type de ming.

XQ: For eg, Ni shi ren lei, wo ke yi bu jiao ni jiagong, jiao ni ren ma?
JG: Ni ke yi jiao wo yi shu shu or corn.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

After dinner, Pua went to book down the whole club-pub just beside the sushi restaurant and the 13 of us went for short ktv session.

They had handful barriers of beer and finished them in about less than 2 hrs time cos i gotta leave for Sg with 3 colleaques.

While the rest went other place for cordonbleu.

Too bad I was driving =( and we left JB at about 1130 and reached home at abt 1230am

Guess my life at work would have been worst without u people.

Im so proud of myself cos being a new-license driver with only 2 months of driving experience and a P-Plate on the car, Im still drove in to JB!

It may not be a big hoo-ha to you, but it is to me !

And Mom said I was so brave and bold.

Rom said I was Young & Dangerous. LOL!

I enjoyed myself so much. and now, Ive gotta stress on my reports.

It was supposed to be a weekly report but i've only submitted 1 report so far.

I'm so so damn screwed ! Guess I need to cope myself home these few days and complete on my god damn reports.

I see the word stress again . Sigh..

Despite it's the last day at work for those 5 male interns (all except SharDar and my shifu) , yet i gave work a missed cos I was totally drained out and my eyes could barely open.



However, I made it for the farewell dinner !

Alright, I know Im a tit too late when almost everybody had alrdy uploaded their parties pictures even in their facebook.

I've been really a busy goodbaby recently.
the 8 hrs per day work has drained up all my energry almost everyday and being the family's chauffer now, I hardly got the time to log into facebook.

I remebered receiving a call from mili saying that she's still in school at 6pmish and I went all the way down to bukitTimah allbymyself and pick her at 7pmish. Tell me, am I a goodsister or no? hah!

And guess what? Windows live messenger has crashed me since last week and I haven't even got the chance to re-download again. hah!
This showed how not-a-msn-freak i am .


Anyway, back to topic.
Like usual, I have never ever celebrated halloween before.
Neither did I hit any clubs and see those creative all-dressed-up people for the ocassion.

Eh ! Wait a min! To come to think of it, i think i actually had one experience last year at StJames, whereby I was dressed up as a sailormoon. But that was for work. Was it even counted tt Im celebrating it?
Whatever ~

This year's was simple but I enjoyed myself so so much. Cos it's one important day for my favourite brother!
It's Ron's 21st BirtdayParty @ TenahMerah's CountryClub chalet.

Was my first time there and the bungalow was beautiful !
Everything was good with the exception that the place was located so god damn ulu whereby i believe there's no public transport that enters there.
Thankgod I drove.

For the very first time, the both of us didn't get to see each other for more than a month !
Can you imagine that?

I know there have been a commotion abt such issue lately .
My comment is, well, for people out there who knows me well, im not very particular and critical about that cos I've been thru and had experienced what she's going thru right now which I can totally understand.
And what's more, Im an easygoing kinda person (: hah!

But still, 1 month is totally outrageous ! So I can actually also understand those dears who felt bad and sorry for me too. Esp my readers and sisters.

So, in order not to let the situation get worst, Anna and I finally met up for 2 consecutive days despite our own individual hectic schedule..
Like I've said, time management is the key factor !




28.10.09 [Wednesday]

I've decided to skip work today cos it's audit week (one imprt event held once a year to check on Environment, health & safety of the company) and we've got absolutely nthg to do at work since all supervisors are busy with those ang mohs.
What's more, the student's area aircon's compressor isn't working and we've gotta wait til next week, after audit is over before we could send for the repair man.

Honestly, they're just excuses to cover up my laziness. hah!
But, I still woke up early and get my ass outta bed and hit straight to the polyclinic with the company of Anna.

Wanted to breakfast together, but the crowd in the clinic only allowed us to have our brunch.
Dad & Mom came over to join us too.

Afterwhich, rushed home, got preapred and the dear me volunteered to send Anna to her interview.
The adress given was Lor Telok which I don't know where on earth it is.
Yet, the smart me still manage to find the place in just one attempt with the help of the streetdirectory!
Tell me, am I smart or no? hah!

And guess what? When we reached there, both Anna & my reactions were;
"Chey! Boat Quay say Boat Quay la. What Lor Telok."
haha..

Anyway, results was, she gave the interview a missed as soon as she saw 90% of the workers were muslims and commented, " I dont like working with malays" haha!
Racist! Yes we know.

Hence, since Anna's bf was working nearby, at a cafe-restaurant called Fisherman's Wharf, we headed down to look for him and at the same time, had our early dinner.
Food there was alright. Didn't get to taste their famous fish & Chips and oysters cos we had hotdog with mash and chips.

Cine was the next destination.

Went to pick Anna and headed down to Hougang to meet Yuling.

Objective was to see Jerjer, but he went back to his Aunt's place. How sad =(

Send yuling and her mom to Kovan and Anna and I went back Downtown East for Nihon Mura.
